The 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Philippine Army was recognized for being adjudged as Best Civil-Military Operations for Combat Unit Category during the Philippine Army Civil-Military Operations Consultative Seminar Workshop at First Pacific Leadership Academy in Antipolo, Rizal on May 5, 2017.
The recognition is awarded to G7 units in the Philippine Army in recognition for the efforts in bringing the military closer to the communities they serve and projecting positive images of the Armed Forces.
COL FACUNDO O PALAFOX IV GSC (CAV) PA, Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, G7, PA awarded the Plaque of Recognition to LTC JO-AR A HERRERA (INF) PA, AC of S for CMO, G7, 1ID PA.
“Together with our predecessors, we are honored to receive this award as we aim for excellence in the conduct of civil-military operations in our area of responsibility.
