Tabak Honors Two Newly Promoted Generals

CAMP SANG-AN, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur – Two newly promoted Brigade Commanders of the 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division were accorded with arrival honors here Monday, March 25, 2019.

Brig. Gen. Bagnus P. Gaerlan Jr,, Commander of 102nd Infantry Brigade, based in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay and Brig.Gen. Fernando M. Reyeg, Commander of 104th Infantry Brigade, based in Isabela city, Basilan, were the honorees of the said ceremony.

As an accolade for their invaluable service, the Team Tabak constantly renders arrival honors to the newly promoted generals who were assigned and occupy star rank positions in the unit.

“I would like to thank the leadership of 1ID for the arrival honors tendered and for the trust and confidence as I perform my duties and responsibilities as the commander of 104th Infantry Brigade”, Reyeg said.

Brig. Gen. Gaerlan also thanked the 1ID for the honors.

“I am very inspired for the promotion as well as the honors tendered to me. Indeed, I am motivated to do more and contribute to the over-all accomplishment of 1ID”, Gaerlan said.

Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Roberto T. Ancan, Commander of 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, congratulated the two newly promoted generals who patiently worked hard to earn their star rank.

“Carry on! Let’s accomplish our mission and ensure the welfare of our men. Rest assured that the 1ID is here to support you”, Ancan added.
