Army’s 1ID Donates Blood to PNRC

CAMP SANG-AN, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur – The 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division donated blood to the Philippine National Red Cross, Iligan and Pagadian City Chapters this week.

A total of 350 troops qualified and generously donated their bloods to the organization in the two different venues.

Last November 5 in Chandler Suites, Pagadian City and on November 9, here in Headquarters, 1st ID.

According to Brig. Gen. Bagnus Gaerlan Jr., Acting Commander of the 1st Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Zampelan (Zamboanga Peninsula and Lanao Provinces),

“The purpose of the donation is to support and help the PNRC prepare for another dengue outbreaks or any disasters that would require blood donation assistance”.

“Rest assured that your Army will always lends a helping hand, even in a simple blood donation, to save the lives of our constituents”, Gaerlan added.
